What is a points race? REGISTER
A points race is a competition that rewards those who earn the most points in a race season..... the more points your earn, the bigger chance you have to earn free race entries!
To be eligable to win you must compete in and finish 3 of the 5 events below:
-April 2010 Hagerstown Duathlon (adult race)
-May 2010 Fort Ritchie Duathlon (adult race)
-July 2010 Hagerstown Sprint Triathlon (adult race)
-August 2010 Fort Ritchie Triathlon (adult race)
-October 2010 Hagerstown Duathlon (adult race)
How can I earn points?
Points are earned by placing in the top 8 in your age group. Overall winners have a different points scale.

How do I register for the points race?
New for 2010 we will require you to register for this points race. Your deadline to register will be October 1, 2010. Please use the registration link above.
What are the categories and awards?

Overall Male/Female (2 free entries in our 2011 races)
19 and under Male/Female (1 free entry in our 2011 races)
20-29 Male/Female (1 free entry in our 2011 races)
30-39 Male/Female (1 free entry in our 2011 races)
40-49 Male/Female (1 free entry in our 2011 races)
50-59 Male/Female (1 free entry in our 2011 races)
60 and over Male/Female (1 free entry in our 2011 races)
Please note that race day age groups are 5 year while the points race age groups are 10 year. Awards will be issued at the end of the year. Your age group is determined by your age on December 31, 2010.
Where will I see results?
We will post the results on this page after each event. A running total of all races will be used to establish placing. In the event of a points tie we will declare the winner who has the fastest run time (3rd leg) of the year.
