We are very excited to offer this event at Fort Ritchie. This is going to be a great event with incrediable spectator views. This is a great venue for multisport racing and also hosts the Fort Ritchie Duathlon and Fort Ritchie Triathlon.
This event is designed to get you ready for the triathlon season or prepare you for other swim events, such as the Bay Bridge Swim.
Events: The first race will be the 750 meter event. The second race is the 1500 meter swim. The third and final swim will be 2250 meters. Each race will be completed before the next race begins. This will be an in water start, wave format. You can combine events! You are eligable for awards for each individual event you compete in but will only get one swag bag. All three events combined is a total of 4,500 meters (2.8 miles). Each race will be allowed a 10 minute warmup near the start area.
Swim Course: The swim course will be in Lake Royer and will be a 750 meter course. The 750 meter race will complete one lap. The 1500 meter race will complete two laps. The 2250 meter race will do three laps. Competitors will exit the water after each lap and will run along the beach and then down a pier and jump back into the water off the pier to start their next lap.
Timing: This event is chip timed! We will be providing race day results immediately following your event.
The Fort Ritchie Triathlon will help support the Fort Ritchie Community Center. The Non-Profit Center strives to create and provide healthy lifestyle and leisure activities, foster community traditions, and promote cultural development through the arts, education, sports, technology, and natural resources to enhance the quality of life for the residents and users of Fort Ritchie and surrounding communities.
This is not a USAT sanctioned event so there are no additional sanction charges for this race.
All entries get a logo commemorative large towel and swim cap. We will also provide water, sport drink and post race food. Only swag bag per person (even those doing more than one event).

There are no refunds, transfers or deferments for this race. If you are unable to race you can automatically cancel your registration on imATHLETE.com and receive a coupon to use towards another Racine MultiSports race within 12 months. The coupon value is determined below.
-Races not sold out, you will receive a 75% coupon credit until 7 days prior to the event.
-Races sold out or within 7 days of the event, there is no coupon offer for cancelations.
-Coupons do not cover any registration fees that are higher than the value of the coupon.
The award categories are the same for the each event: 750 Meter, 1500 Meter and 2250 Meter.

Age Groups: 16 and under, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (2 deep) *we will expand awards as the race grows.
Participants doing the combined swims are eligable for awards for each individual event they swim.
Awards will be handed out at the awards ceremony following the race. No award will be mailed automatically. For a fee of $10 we will mail your medal or award upon your request.

All must wear the provided swim cap with bib # written on the cap. Wetsuits will be allowed if water temps are below 80 degrees. Wesuits are recommended during May since water temperatures are usually in the 60's. Fins are not permitted. Athletes that do not complete the course must visit race officals at the finish line to check in and return their timing chip.
